Honest Fit Check

This footrest isn't right for everyone

We'd rather you buy the right thing than the most expensive thing. A few cases where this might not be your best match:

It's an under-desk support, not a chair fix

It keeps your feet supported and moving, but it works alongside a good chair and cushion — it isn't a substitute for back support.

Check the height against your desk

It adjusts from about 4 to 6 inches. If your chair is very high or very low, confirm it sets your knees and hips at a comfortable angle.

Still not sure? With 60-day money-back guarantee. if it is not right for you, return it within 60 days for a full refund., there's no risk in trying it at your own desk — if it doesn't fit your setup, send it back.

Finally standing more than sitting

My sit-stand converter got way more use once this arrived. Hardwood floors in socks were the real reason I kept sitting back down, not laziness. The mat is thick enough that cold, hard floor just isn't a factor anymore, and I find myself doing little weight shifts and calf raises during boring meetings. It's a clean, plain rectangle — no logos shouting at you on camera, which I appreciate on video calls. Six weeks in and it still looks brand new.

Great mat, my dog has claimed half of it

I switched to a standing desk in my home office and this mat has made a real difference to my lower back by the end of the day, much better than standing straight on tile. The cushioning has a nice bounce to it without feeling unstable underfoot. Only issue, and it's not really the product's fault, is that my dog has decided it's the comfiest spot in the room and now naps on the corner of it most afternoons. Cleaning fur off it is a minor hassle but wipes down fine. Four months in and it hasn't flattened out at all.

The upgrade nobody talks about

Everyone obsesses over the desk and the chair, and then you stand on bare concrete-hard floor anyway. I got this after my physio suggested I simply stand more during the day, and it made the difference between tolerating standing and actually choosing it. The thickness is noticeable the second you step on. It also stays put on our wooden floor, no sliding when I shift weight. Crumbs from my toddler's visits wipe straight off the matte surface. Very happy with it.

My feet stopped complaining by week two

I stand for maybe three hours a day at a converter on top of a normal desk, and the kitchen-tile floor in my home office was brutal. This mat is thick enough that you actually sink in a little, but it doesn't feel mushy. I catch myself rocking side to side without thinking about it, which I guess is the point. The beveled edge means I don't stub my toes stepping off to grab coffee. Wipes clean fast too, which matters because I eat lunch standing up more than I should admit.

Concrete basement studio, feet approve

I record a podcast three times a week standing at a desk in my basement, and the bare concrete down there was killing my feet after about ninety minutes. This mat has made the sessions noticeably easier, enough cushion that I don't notice the floor underneath anymore. It arrived with a fairly strong rubber smell that lingered for close to a week even with the window cracked, which was the main downside for me. The edges have started to curl very slightly at one corner after five months, nothing major but worth mentioning. Still glad I bought it, feet don't ache after recording now.

Simple thing, big difference

Bought this for my WFH setup after switching to a standing desk and noticing my ankles were stiff every evening. Two months in, standing for a couple of hours straight is no problem. The mat sits completely flat on panels, edges included, and I have not once tripped stepping on or off, which happened constantly with the old rolled-up one I tried first. Also survived a whole cup of tea with a paper towel and thirty seconds of effort. No regrets at this price.

Standing no longer feels like a punishment

Before this mat I would raise my desk with good intentions and lower it after twenty minutes. Now I stand through whole calls without noticing. The foam has a firm core so you feel supported rather than sinking, and in socks the matte surface has enough grip that I don't slide around. I have the grey one and it looks discreet in the flat, not like gym equipment. My only wish would be a second one for the kitchen counter, honestly.

Drafting table days are easier on the knees

I'm an architect and spend hours standing at my drafting table sketching before anything moves to the computer. Our office floor is polished concrete, which looks great and is miserable to stand on all day. This mat gives just enough cushioning that my knees stop aching by mid-afternoon, and I find myself shifting weight naturally instead of locking my legs straight. The surface has a slight texture that stops my shoes sliding when I lean over to reach for a ruler. It took about a week to get used to the thickness underfoot. Genuinely wish I'd bought one years ago.

Comfortable, but smaller than I pictured

Fair warning to fellow paces-while-thinking people: at 76 by 50 cm this is a one-spot mat. If you like to shuffle around or stand with a wide stance, you'll find the edge with your heel more often than you'd like. The cushioning itself is genuinely good and my knees are less achy after long standing stretches, no complaints there. It's also firmer than the squishy mats you see in videos, which took me a week to get used to. Decent, just measure your habits first.

Solid product, needed a few days to settle

I use this in my home office on laminate flooring, standing approximately half the working day. The cushioning is very good and clearly better than the thin mat I owned before. Two remarks: there was a slight new-foam smell for the first days, which disappeared after airing, and the surface felt firmer than I expected at first, though I now prefer it that way. The edges lie completely flat after several months, no curling. For the price during the discount, a sensible purchase.
