Finally not peeling myself off the seat
My commute is 45 minutes each way and my car has black leather, so July used to be miserable. The honeycomb texture actually does what it claims - there is air between you and the seat, and my back is not soaked when I get out anymore. Both pieces just lay over the seat, no fussing with hooks or clips. The gel gives a little when you sit down, which I did not expect but ended up liking. Wipes clean after the dog rode shotgun, too.

Okay, but thinner than I expected
The cooling part works and I like the honeycomb texture, but I expected more padding. The gel layer is slim and soft, so if you want real cushioning under you, this is not that. The backrest piece is also on the short side - on my seat it ends below my shoulders. There was a light rubbery smell out of the box that aired out after two days. For the price it is fine, just know it is a cooling layer, not a thick cushion.

Put both cushion pieces on back in March and the honeycomb texture keeps air moving even sitting in traffic with the sun through the windscreen. The lower back piece stays put with the elastic strap even with all the getting in and out I do. Only gripe is the seat cushion shifts a little on the vinyl if I don't clip it in properly every morning, small habit to build. Six weeks on, no flattening at all.

Does the job, moves about a bit
Bought the light blue for a fairly dull grey interior and it brightens things up more than I expected. The cooling is real - motorway runs in warm weather are noticeably less sweaty. My only gripe is that the seat pad shifts slightly when I slide in and out, since nothing anchors it down, so I straighten it every few days. Not a dealbreaker at this price. The slim profile means my driving position has not changed at all.

Took it out on the boat and it held up to sun and spray
I run half day fishing charters out of Fremantle and the boat seats are basically fibreglass with a thin pad, brutal after four hours in the sun. Works well, but it is not air conditioning
Honest take after a full summer with it: it works, but manage your expectations. The gel starts cool and stays cooler than the bare seat, but on a genuinely hot day the effect levels off after a while.
