Bought for the salon, kept it moving
Bought this for my home salon setup. I am on and off it all day, rolling between the client chair and the trolley, and the casters glide without catching on the floor mats. Height changes take a second with the lever, which matters when clients range from kids to very tall blokes. The wipe-clean surface handles colour splashes fine. Perfect for my drawing table

Very solid construction, well suited for bench work
I use this stool at an electronics workbench at standing height. The height range is sufficient to reach my bench comfortably, and the foot ring is important at that height, otherwise the legs hang. The build quality is better than I expected for the price. The aluminium base does not flex, the cylinder holds its position exactly, and after four months there is no wobble. One must sit on a saddle correctly, more like riding than sitting, but then the posture comes almost by itself.

Good height range for the wheel, seat took getting used to
I throw pottery most afternoons and needed something low enough for the wheel but still allowing me to lean forward without my thighs going numb after an hour. The split saddle shape does help, noticeably less numbness than my old flat stool. Height adjusts easily even with clay-covered hands on the lever, which I appreciated more than expected. My only complaint is the seat felt a bit narrow at first for my hips, took about two weeks before it stopped feeling odd. Clay wipes off the surface without soaking in, thankfully.

Good stool, hard adaptation
I will be fair. The mechanics are excellent, the lift is smooth, the base feels stable, nothing creaks. But the adaptation period was long for me, almost three weeks of sore sit bones before it became comfortable, and the foam is firm with little give. The quilted seat cover included in the box helped somewhat. I also can only manage a few hours on it before switching back to my normal chair. If you expect a cushioned seat, this is not that. Posture-wise, it does work.

Finally something that works at my high desk
I am tall and work partly at a raised desk, and regular chairs never got high enough. This one does, with the foot ring taking the weight off my legs when it is fully extended.
