Neck support

Wake up with your spine still in line

Most neck pain that starts in bed comes from a pillow holding your head at the wrong height. The butterfly contour cradles your head in the centre and supports the curve of your neck, so your spine stays aligned instead of kinked through the night.

Alignment

A contour shaped around your neck's curve

The centre cradle holds your head steady while the raised edge supports the natural curve of your neck. Instead of propping your head too high or letting it sink too low, the contour keeps everything level.

Slow rebound

Foam that moulds instead of pushing back

Slow-rebound memory foam compresses under your weight and recovers gradually, taking the shape of your head and neck rather than resisting it. A double-core construction adds a second layer of cushioning beneath the contour.

Winged sides made for side sleepers

The wings on either side give side sleepers a comfortable landing with room for a shoulder underneath. Roll from your back to your side and the support follows without a gap.

Night after night

Support that works however you sleep

Back sleepers rest in the centre cradle; side sleepers settle onto the wings. Either way, the contour meets you at the right height, so you stop rearranging the pillow at 3 a.m. and simply sleep.

Built well

Quiet details that hold up nightly

A pillow you use eight hours a night has to keep its shape and stay fresh. The construction is simple and deliberate: dense foam, a second core, and a cover that breathes.

Double-core construction

A second foam layer beneath the contour adds cushioning depth and helps the pillow keep its shape.

Breathable quilted knit

The soft knit cover lets air move through the surface, keeping it cool and dry night after night.

Honest Fit Check

This pillow isn't right for everyone

We'd rather you buy the right thing than the most expensive thing. A few cases where this might not be your best match:

It's a travel and desk support

It's built to steady your neck during commutes, flights, and long desk sessions — not as a sleep pillow or a cervical-therapy device.

Still not sure? With 60-day money-back guarantee — we pay return shipping, there's no risk in trying it at your own desk — if it doesn't fit your setup, send it back.

How do we compare?

The honest version. Here's ERGOLA next to the cheap stuff flooding marketplaces and the premium names charging double for the same idea.

From the nursery recliner back to our bed

For the first four months after our daughter arrived I was falling asleep in the nursery recliner more nights than not, and my neck was in rough shape from the angle. Once we got back into a normal bed routine I brought this pillow in and the difference was immediate, no more waking up unable to turn my head toward the crying monitor. It stayed supportive through some very short, broken nights of sleep, which is more than I can say for our previous pillows. Smells slightly of foam for the first day, nothing a window fixed.

Sleeping during the day on the ward off-shift

Night shifts at the hospital mean I sleep from 8am to 4pm with blackout curtains and my partner's snoring for company, and my neck used to seize up from the odd hours and worse odd angles. This pillow keeps my head in the same position however I toss around, and I don't wake up with that base-of-skull soreness before a 12-hour shift anymore. The cover picked up a slight chemical smell out of the packaging that took two days airing out to fade. Everything since has been solid, genuinely better sleep in daylight than I thought possible.

My head actually stays in one place now

I sleep on my back and my old pillow pushed my chin toward my chest all night. The dip in the middle of this one holds my head lower while the ridge fills in under my neck, and the foam sinks in slowly instead of springing back at me. Took about three nights to stop noticing the shape. Now I wake up without that stiff spot at the base of my skull that used to follow me to my desk.

Doubles as a decent travel pillow, mostly

I fly to client sites most Mondays and started tucking this into my carry-on instead of buying one of those inflatable neck horseshoes. On the plane it's a bit bulky and eats into legroom under the seat, so that's the one downside. At home on my actual bed it's excellent, my neck stops aching by Wednesday instead of staying sore all week. The cover unzips easily for washing after a week of hotel pillowcases layered over it. Wouldn't buy it specifically for travel, but happy it pulls double duty.

Works whether I end up on my back or side

I fall asleep on my back and wake up on my side, so most contour pillows only got it half right. This one handles both, the middle hollow for back sleeping and the higher winged edges when I roll over. The double layer of foam means it never bottoms out under my head. I bought one for my mum after a month. Her only comment was that it took her a few nights to get used to the shape.

Good pillow, just not built for someone my size

I'm 6'5" with broad shoulders and finding a pillow that doesn't leave my neck bent sideways has always been a struggle. This one is comfortable and the material quality is clearly better than the cheap pillows I've cycled through, but the loft is a bit low for my frame, so I still feel a slight downward angle when lying on my side. My wife, who's average height, loves her identical one and has zero complaints. It's not a bad pillow at all, it's just aimed at a more average build than mine. Might try stacking a folded towel under it.

Sleep in the cab finally doesn't wreck my neck

I drive long-haul and sleep in the truck cab three nights a week on a fold-down bunk that's maybe five inches thick. This pillow compresses down enough to fit that space but still springs back with real support once my head's on it. First few nights the foam felt a little firm and I woke up once still adjusting, but by night four my neck wasn't clicking when I turned my head at the truck stop diner. Only gripe is it holds onto diesel-stop smells more than my old pillow did. Still, best $60 I've spent on this rig.

Less achy after long WFH days

Working from home hunched over a laptop was leaving my neck sore by evening, and sleeping wasn't resetting it. Since switching to this I'm waking up less achy and the soreness doesn't build up through the week the same way. I like that the foam recovers slowly, so when I shift position it moulds again rather than fighting me. The cover has a soft quilted knit feel. No complaints so far after two months.

Helped even out sleeping with scoliosis

I have a mild curve in my upper spine and for years assumed neck pain was just something I'd live with. My chiropractor suggested trying a cervical contour pillow to see if it helped balance things out overnight, and I noticed a difference within the first two weeks, less pulling on one side of my neck when I woke up. It didn't fix everything, I still need my adjustments every few weeks, but mornings are noticeably easier. The cover is soft and hasn't pilled after several washes. Good purchase for a stubborn problem.

Good foam, sits lower than I expected

The quality is fine, the cover is well made and the foam does what they describe, compressing slowly under your head. My problem is the height. Coming from a big fluffy pillow, this feels low, and for the first two weeks I kept waking up wanting to fold something under it. I am used to it now and my neck does feel better in the morning, but if you like a tall pillow, be prepared for an adjustment period.
