Great in the ute, a bit thick for smaller frames
Does exactly what it says in my work ute, where the seat has basically no lumbar shape at all. Long days driving between sites used to leave me sore and that dull ache has mostly gone. Only note: my partner is quite petite and found the 13 cm depth pushed her too far forward in her little hatchback, so she gave it back to me. For an average-sized bloke in a flat seat it's spot on. Mesh cover handles the heat well too.

Really good kit, one small caveat
The lumbar pillow and seat cushion together make my cheap dining chair genuinely usable for full workdays. Quality of the foam is noticeably better than a random Amazon cushion I tried before. My only gripe is the lumbar strap is slightly too long for a narrow chair back — had to tie a knot to get it snug. Minor issue but worth mentioning.

Moved it straight into the car
Bought this for my home office but honestly it lives in the car now. I do a lot of motorway driving for work and the seat in my estate has never supported my lower back properly. The strap fits round the car seat fine and the cushion stays put. It's light too, so on the odd day I do work at the desk I just carry it in. Ordered a second one so I can stop shuttling it about.

Petite-friendly — rare for an ergonomic chair
I'm 5'2" and most "ergonomic" chairs make me feel like I'm sitting in a throne. The seat depth slider brings the seat forward enough that my feet actually rest flat, and the lumbar support adjusts low enough to hit my back, not my shoulder blades. I'm through a 10-hour work day without that familiar lower-back ache. Genuinely impressed.

Great for the ute, just mind the bare gel
Long drives for work, sometimes three hours at a stretch, and this has made a real difference to how my hips feel at the end of the day. Stays cool even when the cab has been sitting in the sun, which frankly surprised me. Docked one star because with no cover the gel can slide around a touch on smooth vinyl until you settle your weight onto it. Once you're seated it stays put. Would buy again regardless.

Very comfortable once you adjust
Coming from a plush memory foam cushion, the firmer feel here was a bit of a shock at first. After about three days my body adapted and now it feels completely normal. The cooling benefit alone makes it worth the adjustment period. Durable-feeling materials too.

Good once you get used to the bolster
Honest take: the first few days the raised wrist part felt odd, like my hand was sitting higher than it wanted to. I nearly put it in a drawer. By the second week it felt normal and now my old flat pad feels wrong instead. Nice compact size for my small study desk, and the fabric top has survived one coffee splash with a quick spot clean. Four stars because of the adjustment period.

Decent chair, but know what you're buying
It's a fair chair for the price, but temper your expectations. The armrests are fixed — they look nice with that curved loop shape, but I would have liked to adjust their height. There's also no headrest, so if you recline expecting neck support you won't find it. The seat felt hard the first couple of weeks before breaking in. On the plus side the mesh back is genuinely breathable and the base feels sturdy. Fine for a few hours a day, not what I'd pick for marathon sessions.

Good construction, small compromises
I have used this chair daily in my home office for nearly three months. The construction is more solid than I expected at this price, and the gas lift adjusts smoothly to my desk height. The mesh keeps the back cool, which is welcome in summer. Two remarks: the headrest needed some fiddling before it sat where I wanted it, and you need free space behind the chair for the full recline. Neither is a serious problem, but one should know this before ordering.

My physiotherapist would approve
I had a disc issue two years ago and my physio keeps telling me to stop slouching at my desk. As a developer I'm easily at the keyboard nine hours a day, so I bought this hoping it would help. The open hip angle really does keep my pelvis in a better position, and I've had noticeably fewer of the tight, pulling sensations in my lower back after long debugging sessions. Assembly was maybe twenty minutes with the manual, nothing complicated. I alternate with a standing desk setup, but this is where I do my focused work now.

Comfy, but give the seat a week or two
Fair warning, the seat foam is properly firm out of the box. First few days I wasn't sure about it, but it's softened into shape nicely and now I actually prefer it to my old squishy chair that had gone flat. The recline and footrest combo is lovely for reading. Only other quibble is the armrests don't adjust, though the padding is decent and they happen to sit at the right height for my desk. Docking one star for the break-in period.

I flip all night and it still holds up
I've never been just a back or side sleeper, I roll between stomach and side probably ten times a night according to my partner. Most contour pillows only work in one position and I'd wake up with my face smashed into the wrong ridge. This one is forgiving enough that whichever way I land, my neck isn't twisted. It's not magic, my old habits are still there, but the ache I used to get between my shoulder blades most mornings has mostly gone. Two months in and it hasn't flattened out like my last pillow did.

Good foam, sits lower than I expected
The quality is fine, the cover is well made and the foam does what they describe, compressing slowly under your head. My problem is the height. Coming from a big fluffy pillow, this feels low, and for the first two weeks I kept waking up wanting to fold something under it. I am used to it now and my neck does feel better in the morning, but if you like a tall pillow, be prepared for an adjustment period.

Perfect for my drawing table
I illustrate for a living and used to slump badly by mid afternoon. On this stool my hips sit open and my spine sort of stacks itself, so leaning over the drawing table stopped feeling like a punishment. The split in the seat matters more than I expected, no pressure where you do not want it. I raise it up for my standing-height table and drop it for the computer with one lever. Ink wipes straight off the upholstery, tested that the very first week unfortunately.

Saved me from buying a new chair mid-lease
My flat's desk chair is provided by the landlord and replacing it wasn't really an option. This kit completely solved the problem — the lumbar pillow in particular is exactly the right firmness and the strap system is simple to adjust.
