Kept its shape through a whole winter of commuting
I have gone through two cheaper lumbar pillows that flattened into sad pancakes within a couple of months. This one has done a full winter of daily commuting plus weekend trips to my parents and the memory foam still springs back every time. The open mesh also means it dries fast after I wore a damp coat against it, small thing but appreciated. My lower back is noticeably less tired after long sits. Nothing clever to add, it just works.

Good stool, hard adaptation
I will be fair. The mechanics are excellent, the lift is smooth, the base feels stable, nothing creaks. But the adaptation period was long for me, almost three weeks of sore sit bones before it became comfortable, and the foam is firm with little give. The quilted seat cover included in the box helped somewhat. I also can only manage a few hours on it before switching back to my normal chair. If you expect a cushioned seat, this is not that. Posture-wise, it does work.

Works, but thinner than I pictured
Honest take: I expected a plusher, rug-like felt from the photos and this is a thinner, denser layer. It absolutely does what it claims — stays put, protects the floorboards, quietens the wheels — but if you are imagining carpet-level cushioning underfoot, adjust your expectations. At 90 by 120 it also only just covers my rolling range with an L-shaped desk; I would have bought a second one to trim and join if I had known. Keeping it, just not wowed.

Really good — wish it were a touch firmer
This is far and away the most comfortable I've been at my standing desk chair in years. The U-shaped cutout sits right where it should and I don't feel my tailbone at all anymore. My one note is that firmer foam would probably suit me better personally, but I'm about 215 lbs so that may be a factor. Cover washes beautifully.

Worth every cent for WFH warriors
I resisted spending this much on a chair for a long time and I genuinely regret not doing it sooner. Eight-plus hours a day for months without the lower-back soreness I was living with before. The mesh doesn't trap heat, the lumbar support is dialled in, and the armrests adjust to my exact keyboard height. Assembly instructions were clear and logical.

Bought it for my mother after her hip replacement
My mum had hip surgery in the spring and sitting for any length of time was painful for her, especially on the hard dining chairs she likes. I ordered this cushion on her surgeon's suggestion to try a gel option, and it's honestly been the easiest purchase of her recovery. She uses it at the table, in the car, even on the porch swing now. The only downside is she keeps misplacing it moving it room to room, which is more a her problem than a product one. Cleans off easily when she spills tea, too.

Very good for long working days
I work approximately nine hours daily at the computer and my previous flat mouse left my wrist tense by the evening. With this contoured shape the hand rests in a more natural angle and I notice much less strain at the end of the day. Setup was simple — I plugged in the receiver on my laptop and it worked immediately, no software. The silent clicks are also appreciated by my wife when I work late. I can recommend it without reservation.

I've had cheaper footrests that cracked or slid everywhere — this one feels like it was built to last. The rocking is smooth and I notice my legs feel less stiff at the end of the day. I would appreciate one more tilt setting between the two middle positions; there's a slight gap where my ideal angle sits. Still, a very good product that I use every day at my home office.

Firmness was too much for me
I understand some people prefer firm support but this was uncomfortably hard for my build — I have less natural lumbar curve and the fixed contour pushed into a spot that felt wrong for me. The mesh cover and strap system are well made, I'll give it that. Ultimately I had to stop using it after a week because of the discomfort. If you have a pronounced lumbar curve you'll probably love it.

Bought this for my father's bad hip
My father has a bad hip and was still using a wooden dining chair at his desk out of stubbornness, so I ordered this for him without much warning. He was skeptical at first but now uses the recline function daily to take pressure off while reading the news online. Assembly was more work than he could manage himself, so I put it together for him, about forty-five minutes with the manual open the whole time. The fabric colour he picked looks sharper than I expected in his study. Only wish the recline lever were slightly easier for his hands to grip.

Survived three shift workers a day
Our call centre put two of these on the floor for the team that rotates through 24 hours, so this chair gets sat in by at least three different people a day. Six months in and it's held up better than the older ones we had, the headrest ratchet still clicks into place and the seat foam hasn't gone flat. Around month four it developed a faint squeak when leaning back, turned out the bolts under the seat just needed a retighten with an allen key. Wipes down easily between shifts too, which matters more than people think in a shared office.

Six months in and still love this setup
I bought this bundle when my company went permanently remote and I'm writing this review six months later because it's held up well enough to warrant saying so. No sagging in the cushion, no loosening in the chair joints, the lumbar pillow hasn't compressed flat.
