Good all-round, elastic could be longer

The memory foam is comfortable and the contour shape is designed right — it sits in exactly the right spot on my lower back. Strap is a fraction short for my Hilux ute seat so I have to loop it twice, which works but isn't ideal. On regular sedans and SUVs I imagine it fits perfectly. Still using it every day.

Solid construction, seat could be softer

I have used this chair daily for approximately five months in my home office. The construction is solid and the gas lift works precisely — no sinking during the day, which my previous chair did constantly. The mesh backrest is the best feature; even in summer my shirt does not stick to it. One point of criticism: the seat pad is quite firm and needed perhaps two weeks before it felt comfortable to me. Now it is fine. Good value overall.

Standing desk breaks that actually wake me up

I stand most of the day at a converted kitchen counter and started using this board during calls where I don't need to type, just listen. It's genuinely improved my focus in the afternoons when I'd normally be flagging. My eight-year-old has also claimed it for the living room, so it's had more use than I originally planned for a desk accessory. The wood core feels sturdy underfoot, not the flimsy plastic dome I was half expecting at this price. Only wish it came in a slightly larger size for two feet.

Great support, slightly snug seat for bigger blokes

Does what it says. The shell tilts you upright and the back wings genuinely hold you there, no straps flopping about like other posture gear I've owned. I use it in the home office and occasionally drag it out to the deck table. Docking one star because I'm a broader guy and the contoured seat pan is a touch snug around the hips, took some settling in. Once you're in the right spot it's comfortable for hours though. Solid buy.

Long commute, no back ache

I drive about ninety minutes each way a few days a week and lower-back fatigue was building up badly. This pillow in the car seat made an immediate difference on the first trip. The mesh doesn't trap heat which matters in the car more than at a desk. The straps work well looped around the seat post. Solid build quality and the foam shows zero compression after two months.

Very good, tension knob took some fiddling

The chair itself is excellent, supportive mesh seat, headrest where I want it, wheels that roll fine over the plastic mat and the bare floor. Knocking off a star only because tuning the recline tension to my weight took a good few days of trial and error, the adjustment range is wide and the sweet spot is narrow. Once found, it's set and forgotten. My partner tried it and immediately asked why her chair isn't this one.

No more pillow-flipping ritual

I'm the classic pillow-flipper, spent years hunting the cold side at 2am. This basically ends that. The gel spreads the warmth out instead of holding it under your face, and the pad is light and bendy enough that it just moulds over my existing pillow. Summer here is brutal and even with a fan going this made a noticeable difference. Also handy that it wipes clean. I sweat, no shame.

Perfect for hours of genealogy research

Since retiring I've been tracing my family tree, which apparently means far more hours at a computer than I ever spent marking essays. This chair has been a proper upgrade from the old dining chair I was using at my desk. The lumbar support means I can spend a whole afternoon on archive websites without my back seizing up. Getting it assembled at seventy one took some patience but the instructions were clear enough with my grandson's help. Very pleased with the purchase overall.

Gaming by night, work by day

Bought this for a dual setup, work laptop on the return and my gaming rig on the main run. Plenty of depth for a big monitor plus keyboard and mouse space, and the motor is quiet enough that I raise it during late sessions without waking anyone. Frame feels solid under a loaded desktop, no flex when I lean on the corner. The levelling feet sorted out my slightly uneven floorboards. No complaints so far after a few months.

Made sideline coaching bearable this season

I coach my son's youth soccer team and spend most Saturdays on a cheap folding chair on the sideline for two back-to-back games. My lower back used to be sore by the second match every single weekend. This cushion straps onto the folding chair well enough that it doesn't slide off when I jump up to shout instructions, and it hasn't flattened out after a full season of weekly use in all kinds of weather. It picked up a grass stain early on that never fully washed out, but otherwise it's held up better than I expected for something left outdoors so often.

Very comfortable once the new-foam smell aired out

Two small things kept this from five stars. Out of the packaging there was a light new-foam smell, gone after two days airing by the window, and the first nights felt firm compared to my feather pillow. After that, honestly, it has been excellent. The neck curve is supported properly and I have stopped folding my arm under my pillow, which was a bad habit. The white quilted cover still looks new after months of use.

Good height range for the wheel, seat took getting used to

I throw pottery most afternoons and needed something low enough for the wheel but still allowing me to lean forward without my thighs going numb after an hour. The split saddle shape does help, noticeably less numbness than my old flat stool. Height adjusts easily even with clay-covered hands on the lever, which I appreciated more than expected. My only complaint is the seat felt a bit narrow at first for my hips, took about two weeks before it stopped feeling odd. Clay wipes off the surface without soaking in, thankfully.

Best investment I made for remote work

I spent a long time researching ergonomic chairs and eventually pulled the trigger on this one. The lumbar support adjustment range is wider than anything else I tested, which mattered because I couldn't find a single setting on other chairs that worked. Breathable mesh is real — no overheating. Assembly was surprisingly quick and the instructions were actually good.

Commuter chair essential

I use this at work on a basic task chair and it's transformed my daily comfort. No more leg numbness by 3pm, no heat buildup, no sliding. The non-slip cover is better than competitors I've tried. Four months in and the gel grid still feels the same as day one.

Comfortable enough for two very different schedules

I work night shifts as a nurse and run a small bookkeeping side business during the day, so this chair gets used at odder hours than most reviews probably describe. The headrest has genuinely helped with neck tension after twelve-hour shifts, and the seat cushion hasn't gone flat even with what must be ten-plus hours some weeks between both jobs combined. It rolls quietly across our laminate floor at 4am, which my husband very much appreciates. Assembly instructions were clear, done in under thirty minutes start to finish.
