Bought for my dad, he won't get out of it
My father is seventy-four with arthritis in both knees, and getting up out of his old chair had become a real struggle for him. This one's seat height, and the way the armrests give him something solid to push off, made an enormous difference straight away. He uses it at the desk in the spare room where he does the crossword and pays the bills online most mornings. The recline goes back further than he'll ever need but he likes having the option there. Assembly took us under half an hour together.

Student budget, all-day chair
Uni student here, I basically live at my desk between lectures and this has held up to genuinely brutal daily use for most of a year. The recline lock is what sold me. I study upright, then tilt back for lecture recordings without dragging myself to bed and falling asleep. Headrest pillow is soft without being useless. My only note is it takes a bit more of a push to roll on my rug than on the hard floor. Would buy again, no hesitation.

Noticeable improvement from day one
I bought this kit after throwing out my back sitting on a folding chair during a long WFH stretch. Both pieces together make my budget chair usable again. The foam quality is clearly better than the cheap seat cushion I had before. I do wish the kit included a neck pillow — I've got decent lumbar and seat support now but my neck is the remaining weak point.

Less achy after long workdays
I work from home full time and my lower back was letting me know about it. Splitting the day between sitting and standing has genuinely helped — I feel less achy after long stretches at the desk. What sold me was not having to buy a whole new desk. It also folds flat, so when I need the full desk for craft projects on weekends the riser just disappears down to almost nothing.

Survived a toddler and a long thesis
I wrote most of my thesis sitting on this and it held up beautifully. The slow-rebound foam still recovers its shape after months of daily use, no flat spots. My two-year-old also treats it as a boat sometimes, and everything wipes clean, including a yogurt situation I won't describe. The seat keeps me upright through long writing sessions and my lower back complains far less than it did on the bare chair. The white base looks clean next to my desk too.

Bring your own riser to a hot-desk office and it just works
Our office moved to hot-desking last year and I hated losing my adjustable desk, so I started bringing this converter in with me and setting it on whatever desk I land at. It's heavier to carry than I expected at first, but once it's down it goes up and down all day without any fuss. The gas lift means I can switch between sitting and standing every hour or so during calls without disrupting a headset cable running across the desk. After nearly a year of near-daily lugging it around, one corner of the base has picked up a scuff, purely cosmetic though.

Good for these older hands
At seventy-one I've developed some arthritis in my right hand, and gripping a flat mouse for genealogy research sessions used to leave my knuckles stiff. This one's shape lets my hand rest rather than grip, and I've noticed less stiffness after two-hour sessions tracing family records online. My grandson set it up for me in under a minute, no software required, which suited me fine. The click does take a touch more deliberate press than I expected, so I occasionally second-guess whether it registered, but otherwise a genuine improvement.

My physio actually approved of this one
Had lower back surgery last year and my physiotherapist was specific about needing adjustable lumbar depth, not just height. This chair let me dial the lumbar in and out until it sat right against the curve of my spine, which took some fiddling the first week but was worth it. I'm back to working full days at my desk without the stiffness I had on my previous chair. Armrests are a good height for typing without hunching. Only complaint is the recline tension knob is stiff to turn and I still haven't fully figured out the ideal setting for it.

Decent, but firmer than I hoped
Been on it most of a year now so this is a fair shake. The mesh back and the recline are genuinely good, and it's held up fine — no wobbles, casters still roll. My gripe is the seat: it's on the firm side and took a few weeks before it stopped feeling like a park bench. It's better now, but if you're expecting a plush cushion, this isn't that. Also the white frame shows scuffs in a busy household. Does the job, wouldn't call it luxurious.

Portrait mode changed how I code
I rotate my 24" monitor to portrait most mornings for reading code and long PDFs, then back to landscape for meetings. Doing that on the old stand meant unscrewing things; here it is one motion. The joints are solid, nothing sags overnight. Assembly took me about twenty minutes alone, and the included clamp gripped my rather thin desktop without marking it. Two years of warranty on top — nothing to complain about.

Made August in the city bearable
August in Milan without air conditioning is its own category of suffering. A friend recommended a cooling pad and I picked this one because it goes over the pillow I already have instead of replacing it. The translucent gel looks a bit odd bare, but under the pillowcase you'd never know it's there, except your face stays cool. I also drape it over the back of the sofa on the hottest evenings. Cleaning is just a quick wipe.

Solved my leg numbness problem
I'd been dealing with that numb-leg sensation after long periods of sitting for years and assumed it was just part of desk work. The waterfall seat edge on the LumaSpine Pro has essentially eliminated it. I understand it's a real ergonomic feature designed to reduce pressure on the back of the thighs, and it works exactly as claimed. Everything else about the chair — lumbar, mesh, armrests — is also well done.

Whole kit for less than one month of back pain
I was spending money on massage sessions for lower back tension I was attributing to stress. It was my chair. Good chair, color looked slightly different than photos
I work a night shift in customer support so I'm sitting from ten at night until six in the morning most weekdays. The chair itself has been comfortable through the whole shift, the lumbar support especially helps around hour five when fatigue sets in. My only disappointment is the grey fabric looked a shade darker and warmer in person than in the product photos, not a big deal but worth mentioning. Assembly was simple and the base feels sturdy after several months of nightly use.

Gute Qualität, Gurte etwas kurz
The foam density is noticeably high quality and maintains its shape after daily use. My only issue is that the straps are slightly short for my large office chair — on my home desk chair they fit perfectly. The mesh cover is genuinely breathable and the lumbar curve placement is accurate. Overall a good product that I'd buy again.
