Saved me from cold metal bleachers all season
My son plays under tens footy and Saturday mornings on aluminium bleachers in winter are rough on an adult tailbone. Brought this cushion to a match on a whim and it made the whole two hours actually comfortable, plus it doesn't hold the cold like the bench does. Carrying it to and from the car every week is a bit of a hassle since it doesn't fold down small, but that's my only complaint. Survived a full season of being tossed in the boot with the footy gear without any tears or flat spots.

Late-night briefs are less brutal now
I'm a lawyer and some nights drafting doesn't wrap up until well past midnight, and my old chair left my shoulders aching by then. Now when I hit a wall around 11pm I recline back for ten minutes with the footrest out before finishing the last section. It resets me more than coffee does at that hour, oddly enough. The armrests are cushioned enough that leaning on them while reading documents doesn't leave pressure marks like my previous chair did. Delivery took a bit longer than promised here in Wellington, but the chair itself has been worth the wait.

Long CAD sessions no longer wreck my back
I spend most days at a drafting chair doing CAD work, often six hours without much of a break when a deadline is close. My old chair's built in lumbar bump never sat in the right spot for my height, so I added this on top and it's solved the problem completely, the curve lines up properly now. After four months of daily use it hasn't lost its shape, which surprised me given how much I lean forward and back at the desk. If I'm nitpicking, the cover attracts static and clings to my shirt in winter.

Comfortable and simple, maybe too simple for some
The ergonomics are the selling point and they deliver — my hand sits in a natural position and the textured thumb grip keeps everything steady without squeezing. Plug-and-play is convenient, but the flip side is there's no software, so there's nothing to fine-tune beyond the built-in pointer speed settings. I mostly browse and write code, so it doesn't bother me much, but people who like customising every control should know. Quiet clicks, tidy desk, decent weight. Four stars, would still buy again.

Survived a year of WFH and weekend gaming
Coming up on a year with this chair and it still adjusts as smoothly as day one. I use it for work during the week and long gaming sessions on weekends, and the lumbar support is what keeps me in it for hours without the usual lower back grumble. Gas lift hasn't sagged at all. The 60-day return window was actually why I risked ordering a chair online in the first place. Never needed it.

Simple product that just works

Eight months in, still my default seat
Wrote this after eight months because most reviews are honeymoon-phase. The frame is still tight, nothing has loosened even with the rocking, and the knee cushions haven't flattened out. I sit in it for most of my workday, standing up every hour or so. The habit it built, keeping my spine in its natural curve instead of collapsing into the backrest I no longer have, carried over even when I sit on normal chairs. Best desk purchase I've made.

Makes long study sessions bearable
I use a manual wheelchair and spend hours at my desk finishing a graduate degree online. Pressure sores on my tailbone were becoming a real problem after two or three hours. Since adding this cushion under me, I can go a full afternoon without needing to shift my weight every twenty minutes. The foam is dense enough that I don't sink through to the chair frame, which had been an issue with a cheaper gel pad I tried first. Cover zips off easily for washing. Only wish it came in a wider size for a bigger chair frame.

Simple thing, does exactly one job well

There is genuinely air moving between me and the chair now. I was skeptical about the beads, expected a gimmick, but they give a light acupressure feeling when I lean into them and my lower back is less achy after long sits. No padding to compress or wear out either.

Firm in a good way, once you adjust
I was expecting something pillowy and this is not that — it is supportive with a clear firm core underneath the give. After a few days I understood why: you stand stable instead of wobbling. I use it in shoes at my studio workbench as well as barefoot at home, and it works for both. The black picks up dust that shows more than I would like, though it wipes off in seconds. A well-made object overall. Knocking one star only for the dust thing, which is cosmetic.

Good on the boat, a bit much to store
We take our boat out most weekends in summer and the bench seats have never had proper padding, so a full day out used to leave everyone stiff. I bought two of these for my husband and myself and they made a noticeable difference on longer trips out on the water. They've survived splashes and sun without the foam breaking down, which I was worried about. The only real downside is finding storage for them on board when we're not using them, since they take up more space than the flat seat pads we had before.

Recommend understanding it before recommending it to patients
As a physiotherapist I wanted to actually use one of these before suggesting it to patients with chronic lower back complaints, so I fitted it to my clinic desk chair where I do notes between sessions. The dual panel design genuinely does move with your posture rather than staying static like the memory foam options I've tried, and it hasn't compressed at all after two months of daily use. Installation was simple with the bracket provided. My only hesitation in recommending it broadly is the price point, which is steep for some of my patients on a fixed income.

Shared home office, two saved heights
My husband is 193 cm and I am 164, and this covers both of us, we each saved a standing preset and just tap our own. That range was the deciding factor over cheaper desks. It sits in the corner of our home office and the return side has become the sewing and paperwork zone. Nine months in, the motors sound the same as day one and nothing has loosened. Quietly excellent, which is the best kind.
