Great support, took a few days to break in
The foam felt very firm the first couple of days and I was slightly worried I'd made a mistake. By day four it had softened just enough to feel comfortable and since then it's been excellent. The lower-back support is targeted and effective, the cover stays cool even in a warm room, and the straps hold well on my mesh task chair. Worth sticking with past the initial adjustment period.

Handles a heavy monitor arm but check the limits
I edit video for a living and run a color-accurate 32-inch monitor on a heavy-duty arm, which pushed close to the desk's stated weight limit once I added a second small monitor beside it. It has held up fine for eight months with no sag, but I'd have liked a bit more headroom on the spec sheet before committing. The wood top is genuinely gorgeous under studio lighting, several clients have asked what desk it is on video calls. Lift speed is on the slower side but perfectly smooth, never a shudder even fully loaded.

Took it out on the boat and it held up to sun and spray
I run half day fishing charters out of Fremantle and the boat seats are basically fibreglass with a thin pad, brutal after four hours in the sun. Brought this cushion set along for a season now, both the seat and back pieces buckled onto the captain's chair, and the gel hasn't degraded despite constant sun exposure and the odd splash of seawater. It rinses off easily with a hose, which matters more than I expected given how much salt spray it deals with. The straps have started to fade in color, though they still hold firmly. Customers have started asking where I got it too.

Evening marking sessions are less painful
Between lessons and marking at home most evenings, I'm at a desk far more than I used to be. This replaced a dining chair I'd been using for two years, which tells you how low the bar was. Eight hour shifts on the phones, back holds up now
I work in a call centre doing eight hour shifts with barely any chance to get up, and the standard office chairs we're issued are not kind to anyone's lower back. Brought this in from home and it's genuinely changed how I feel by the end of a shift, none of the stiffness I used to get walking to the bus stop after. It did take about a week to stop noticing it was there, which I count as a good thing. Minor gripe, the strap buckle digs into the chair mesh a bit and has left a slight indent.

Bought for my student desk, kept for everything
Got this for long study sessions and thesis writing. The memory foam presses back slowly instead of flattening out, so even after a three-hour stretch my hand still feels supported. Our cat has decided the bolster is also a chin rest, which says something about the softness I suppose. The woven top wipes clean easily and the grey does not show dust much. Small footprint fits my narrow desk perfectly.

Great for my lower back too, not just the tailbone
I bought this specifically for tailbone discomfort and got that benefit, but I also noticed my lower back stopped aching by early afternoon — I think the tilt the cushion creates helps my posture. The non-slip base grips my office chair seat beautifully. Only knock is the cover attracts lint, but it washes out easily.

Works for gaming marathons, not just office typing
I stream for a few hours most evenings after my day job and my wrist used to cramp up during longer sessions with a high sensitivity mouse. This wrist rest keeps my hand at a steadier angle so I'm not hovering above the desk the whole time, and my aim actually felt more consistent once I stopped compensating for wrist fatigue. The foam has kept its shape after nearly four months of nightly use. Only gripe is it shows fingerprints and dust more than I expected on the dark grey finish.

Solid frame, does not move
I was sceptical about electric desks holding position with heavy equipment, I have two monitors, a desktop tower stand and an audio interface on top. It raises everything steadily and stays put, no drift overnight. The control panel is simple, big up and down keys and the height number, nothing to overthink. Steel frame is heavy, which is good news once assembled and bad news while assembling. Get a second person for flipping it upright.

Good for long editing sessions
I edit video standing up for big chunks of the day and my heels used to be done by 3pm. With this mat I get through the afternoon without that dull ache in my feet and lower legs. The foam bounces back instead of developing dents where I always stand, which killed my last cheap mat inside six months. Only thing to note is you do have to nudge it aside when you roll the chair back in to sit, but the low edge means the casters don't snag on it.

The wings are the clever bit
I've tried the soft lumbar pillows you strap to a chair and they always slid down or squashed flat by lunchtime. This is a different idea entirely, a rigid shell with padded wings that hold both sides of your lower back. Nothing to strap or fiddle with, which sold me. I use it on a fairly ordinary office chair and honestly forget it's there until I stand up and notice I'm less achy than usual. Only note: it looks a bit odd in a formal office. Worth it.

Quality product, minor assembly note
The rocker itself is very well built and the height locking mechanism feels secure. Small note: the instructions could be a bit clearer on how to seat the height peg properly — I spent ten minutes fiddling before I realised there was a quarter-turn to lock it. Once sorted it's been rock solid (no pun intended). The leg-stiffness issue I had by 4pm has noticeably improved.

The set-and-forget kind of purchase
I work in accounting, so I sit more than I should. What convinced me was the rigid frame — my previous foam support flattened into a pancake within four months and this one is structurally incapable of doing that. Half a year in, it holds exactly the shape it had on day one. Installation took a few minutes and it has not slipped since. My wife tried it once and immediately ordered one for herself, which is probably the most honest review possible. Firm but comfortable, at least for us.
